This week our dragon should have legs and arms.
First 3 pictures, are the creation, before baking.
The final project, this week I wasn't shy using patina (acrylic paint). And I really like the way it makes him look.
if you want to adopt him, he is for sale on my "a year like Christi Friesen" page. Tchoupuce.com
Let me present you Odyssey - she is a Water dragon.
I made her like CF with polymer and beads.
This first project was to learn how CF works, add beads to the project, use patina. I was good with beads, but t he use of patine just scared me so I didn't do it, actually, I did, but I wiped everything after, I didn't like it.
Next time, I'll try ;)
It was a 3hours project. I'm proud of the result, I like her.
Next week project is another dragon, it should be different and with arms and legs.
My work in process. Was not easy to have the correct dragon size, not too big, not too small.
Odyssey is finished, beads added, baked, and finished with satin gloss. I even made a baby to her.
I just join a one year project, I think will be a good opportunity to meet (virtually) people. Share the fun with a group, learn a lot, discover new technique and make new creations. I'll post all the good and bad of this project ;)
First week, January 7th... waiting for #1 book - Dragons !
